About Aspen Press

I discovered Letterpress in 2011 and felt it was something that I had always been waiting to do. I love anything lettering or paper. Printing with movable type fascinates me. The fact that it is an ancient medium which can be traced back to Johannas Gutenberg in the 15th century.

My inspiration is all around me, anything with words and letters. I am often found with my nose in fount catalogues and I love the fact there are enthusiasts still casting lead type and ornaments.
