WHEN: September COST: Free to Friends

In the morning we will have a special guided tour of the modern architectural masterpiece Coventry Cathedral, conducted by The Dean of Arts and Reconciliation. Among the highlights of this remarkable building are artworks created by some of the greatest artists of the twentieth century, including the famous Tablets of the Word and the Baptismal Font, carved by Ralph Beyer; Graham Sutherland’s mesmerising tapestry of ‘Christ in Glory’ and John Hutton’s etched glass West Screen, as well as gaining access to some areas not generally available to the public. 

In the afternoon we will be given a talk by lettercarver and lettering designer John Neilson, who has written the definitive book on Ralph Beyer.
