Do the Stones Speak? Guide to the St Peter's Church, Corpusty, & The Art and Memory Collection

Do the Stones Speak? Guide to the St Peter's Church, Corpusty, & The Art and Memory Collection

£6.00

In March 2022 part of the Lettering Arts Trust Art and Memory Collection moved to St Peter’s Church, Corpusty, in Norfolk.

This guidebook explains the chequered history of the church, which is now looked after by The Norfolk Churches Trust, and also gives insight into the Art and Memory Collection. The collection already had a strong connection with north Norfolk, because many of the pieces had been included in The Art of Remembering, an exhibition held in 1998, down the road at Blickling Hall. Lettering artists were given complete freedom to conceive and make new works on a memorial theme.

With thanks to the Behrens Foundation who enabled this project with a generous grant.
