Herman Broch Flight & Longing mounted print - by Elizabeth Fraser
The philosophical essence of this Broch quote about ideas and actions is neatly contained within the circular design of the print. Hand setting type into a circle is tricky but sometimes it is the perfect reflection of a concept. Herman Broch (1886-1951) was an Austrian philosopher and writer whose modernist themes consider the disintegration and reinvention of concepts around society and politics.
The print is 38 x 38cm. It comes mounted and unframed.
