ABOUT THE ARTIST

AFTER TRAINING AS A STONEMASON AND CARVER IN WEYMOUTH IN 1998, LOUISE WORKED AS A STONEMASON IN HEREFORDSHIRE UNTIL 2005. SHE THEN MOVED TO NORFOLK TO BE AN APPRENTICE TO CHARLOTTE HOWARTH TO LEARN THE DEMANDING ART OF LETTERING AND LETTER CARVING (FUNDED BY THE MEMORIAL ARTS CHARITY AND JERWOOD FOUNDATION).
