In classical Greece and Roman times there were between 50 and 100 Nereids, each with her own power and beneficial influence over the waves, the vessels, the harbours, the sailors and the fish. The artists have responded to the theme by creating individual nereids which, through the standardized format, hang together as a unified sisterhood.

All works are for sale with prices ranging from £800 - £3500.
