ONLINE TALK: Martin Cook, Master letter carver - from house signs to the great court of the British museum

Martin Cook is known as one of the UK’s leading lettercutters and stone carvers, and his career spans 45 years. He spent the first dozen years as a trade letter carver, and was then inspired by a slate carving he saw by Richard Kindersley. He set about the long journey to become an artist and letter carver with further training from from Alec Peever and Suzanne Haines and Michael Harvey. Major commissions include The Great Court of The British Museum. He has also designed one silver/gilt and two gold medal winning Chelsea Flower Show gardens..

This talk will be held online via zoom. Cost £10, OR Friends attend for free.
