The Artists' Village at Watts Gallery has been a hive of creativity since the 1890s. G F and Mary Watts were known internationally. They collaborated with artists and makers who were part of the Arts and Crafts Movement and they pioneered collaborative and community arts. They believed that art and making could make a difference to people's lives. Come to the Make Festival to discover art skills and ideas, meet inspiring people and take part, whatever your age or ability. Letter carver Tom Sargeant will be demonstrating how he designs and carves letters into stone.
